This Thermo Nicolet is in good working condition and all aspects that could be tested without software were found to be fully functional.

Testing we performed:
The Nicolet FTIR system passed all tests and was found to be fully functional:
Tested Initial boot up system with no errors
Tested manual adjustment of light sources
Tested light path between Microscope and Spectrometer systems
Tested Power to Spectrometer system
Tested mechanical XY axis of stage
Tested motorized Z axis of stage
Tested all manual shutters and apertures
Tested all objectives

During testing this system was found to have no issues.
A clear image was produced through the eyepieces.
All of the mechanical and motorized components moved freely and the test sample was able to be focused without excessive effort.
