This Thermo Nicolet Continuum Infrared Microscope is in good working order with all aspects tested and working.
The Nicolet is currently set up for material and metallurgical studies.

Testing we performed:
The Thermo Nicolet Continuum IR Microscope passed all tests and was found to be fully functional:
Tested initial boot up system with no errors
Tested light adjustment for all 3 light sources
Tested XY axis and Motorized Z axis of stage
Tested all manual shutters and moving parts
Tested both objectives for clarity
Tested camera mount set up
Tested all eyepieces
Tested connection between camera and computer
Tested live feed to camera

The Nicolet system includes a Dell Latitude i5 Laptop to control the AmScope Software.
The mechanical XY Stage and its motorized z axis are ideal for Reflective and Transmission studies.
